New PHP attempt...

Someday, SOMEDAY I WILL GET THIS all in my brain the first time around! I'm learning though...click here to see my php links (I only created page links on products, contact us, and facts) so home and about don't have links that work- right now. It's nice and vibrant colors huh? Just for fun, not really designed you know. Hope you enjoy! :)

Digital Compositions: Definitely a Work in Progress!

Here are some digital compositions for my site. I have four different looks for the site (all pretty cohesive though, I think), but they have a few differing elements in them. I'm making a family website for my dad's business, Dahlsrud Farms. I think it will turn out to be an interesting and fun website for my family and friends to look at.

It still has a long ways to go, but there's an overview of where I am so far. :)

HTML Tutorial

For class today, we all had to present our own tutorials. I did mine on anchor links (thanks for the idea Dave!). I learned a lot from it and hope I can keep up with all this stuff! Web design is definitely exciting and there's a lot more to it than I thought. I will for sure give a lot more credit to web designers everywhere!

Anyways, here's my attempt at giving a tutorial.

What do you think?

My first attempt at a web page!

The link below is the very first web page I have ever created. It's lovely, isn't it? Our class created these a few weeks ago without knowing how to design the pages to look good; we just learned first how to create the html codes for them. Anyways, here is my first attempt at html :)

This semester so far...

Has been pretty fun and I've already learned a lot about web design- although there is still a lot to learn! So far in my classes, I have learned how to:
  • Create basic HTML sites
  • Make a student tutorial (currently in the process of that!)
  • Create abstract pictorial marks, letter marks, and word marks
  • Understand more of the business side of things involving design.
I hope I can learn how to master all this stuff! I have a friend who creates web pages and wants me to help her design those web pages for clients! Sounds like a lot of fun, I just have to figure out how to do it all first! :)
